This call supports projects that bring together partners from the Barents Euro-Arctic Council (BEAC) members — Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and the European Union — with a focus on sustainable cross-border cooperation.
BFM-funded projects can bring together partners from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and the EU, fostering international cooperation in the Barents Region.
Applicants must be legal entities, including:
Barents Working Groups and the Barents Regional Youth Council (BRYC) are also eligible when represented by a legal entity serving as lead partner/applicant.
Total funding: NOK 1.5 million.
Maximum grant per project: NOK 400.000.
Co-funding requirement: Minimum 10% (cash or in-kind).
Project duration: Projects must take place during 2026.
All applications must be submitted by 15 February 2026 using the official application form and budget template.
